1. Nature of Service

VTC Systems is a community-driven digital platform for the virtual trucking community. We provide:

• Web Development: Custom and template-based Landing Pages designed for Virtual Trucking Companies (VTCs).
• Management Software: The VTC Systems Hub platform, a cloud-based system for fleet management, driver tracking, and recruitment automation.

2. Donations & No-Refund Policy

• Supporter Perks: Access to advanced features is granted as a thank you for your support.
• Recurring Support: Monthly donations help us predict server costs.

By supporting the project, you acknowledge that you are not purchasing a commercial service but contributing to a community initiative.

3. Support Management

• Recurring Support: You can choose to support the project monthly.
• Cancellation: You may stop your recurring donation at any time.
• Effect of Cancellation: You will retain supporter status until the end of the current period.

4. Service Ownership & Licensing

• Client Data: You retain full ownership of the data (driver lists, logs, applications) you input into the VTC Systems Hub.
• Intellectual Property: VTC Systems retains all rights, title, and interest in the underlying code, architecture, database structures, and design of the VTC Systems Hub and Landing Pages. Supporting the project grants you access to use the software, not ownership of the code.
• Branding: A "Powered by VTC Systems" watermark or footer link is required on all standard deployments.

5. Usage Restrictions

You agree not to:

1. Reverse Engineer: Decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the platform.
2. Unauthorized Distribution: Resell, sub-license, or redistribute the software code to third parties without explicit written consent from VTC Systems.
3. Illegal Activities: Use the platform for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of TruckersMP rules or Discord Terms of Service.

6. Limitation of Liability

VTC Systems provides services on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

• External Dependencies: We are not liable for downtime, latency, or service interruptions caused by third-party providers, including but not limited to Netlify (hosting/functions) or MongoDB (database) outages.
• Data Loss: While we implement standard backup procedures, VTC Systems is not responsible for data loss resulting from user negligence, compromised account credentials, or unforeseen catastrophic failure of third-party infrastructure.

7. Modifications to Service

VTC Systems reserves the right to modify features, functionality, or suggested donation amounts at any time.

• Donation Changes: Active supporters will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any changes to suggested recurring donation amounts.
• Feature Updates: We continuously improve our software; features may be added, modified, or deprecated to enhance performance and security.

8. Data Protection (GDPR)

We respect your privacy and comply with applicable data protection laws. Personal data collected (such as Discord IDs, usernames, and avatars) is processed strictly for the purpose of providing the VTC Systems Hub service and authenticating users. We do not sell your data to third parties. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.

3. Infrastructure & Security

We utilize industry-standard infrastructure to ensure data security:

• Hosting: Services are hosted on Netlify.
• Database: Data is encrypted and stored in MongoDB Atlas.
• No Data Selling: We do NOT sell, trade, or transfer your personal data to third parties.

4. User Rights

You retain full control over your data. You have the right to:

• Deletion: Request total deletion of your account and associated logs at any time by contacting support.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use strictly technical cookies and local storage for session security (JWT) and user preferences. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
